Biography
 

Chilean Artist living in Marseille, France. Bachelor of Arts (Universidad Catolica Chile) with a Masters in Art Therapy (Universidad de Chile).

ARTISTIC APPROACH

In my previous works (2002-2013) I experimented with different format supports to achieve aesthetic results beyond the limits of the painting, and in conjunction with the exhibition space the objective being as much update the practice of oil painting .

​

Since my arrival in France (2016) I have sought to focus on the act of Painting and its properties; the material, the stain, the color, the different densities. The painting itself including the limits of the painting.

​

As a painter, I care a lot about this space that is created in the act of painting, the one that we only manage to grasp during the creative process, the transitional space, the space of play (D.Winnicot, H.Fiorini)

​

The final product is just one layer of this creative movement. My production in art is linked to painting and its transformation over time, as if it were layers that follow one another, painting and life itself.

 

My personal history comes to modulate my works.
